Mellie Goolsby Mathis, Founder and Managing Director

Mellie Goolsby Mathis is the Founder and Managing Director for MGM Advisory Services. Mellie is intuitive, action-oriented, authentic, transparent, business savvy and maintains the highest standards of ethics and integrity. She has 20 years of experience in human resources operations management from a career with Arthur Andersen and other large professional service firms including: Ajilon Executive Search, Targetbase, an Omnicom Company, Grant Thornton and ACS, a Xerox Company.

Specialties include: Strategic Resource Management; Resource Management Analysis; Utilization and Initiatives; Conflict Resolution & Negotiations; and Operational Design, Development, and Implementation, as well as Talent Acquisition and Recruiting.

She enjoys volunteer work, including: serving the homeless at The Bridge, being a founding member of the Children’s Medical Center “The Children’s Trust,” and is looking forward to becoming more involved with Dallas Pets Alive this year. Mellie is also a member of SHRM and Dallas HR.

In her free time, Mellie takes walks with her husband, Chris and their Rhodesian Ridgeback four legged baby, Tele. The threesome enjoy spending time with family in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Oakland, CA where Mellie’s two nieces live. They also enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and meeting with their Highland Park Presbyterian Church Couples Small Group.

Meredith Lucas, Executive Recruiter

Meredith Lucas, C.P.A, is an Executive Recruiter for MGM Advisory Services where she focuses on recruiting. Meredith’s accounting education and work experience allows her to identify with her clients and their needs. Meredith holds high ethical standards, strives for excellence in all her endeavors.

Meredith started her career as a staff auditor with Arthur Andersen in Dallas, Texas. During her time as an auditor, Meredith worked with high profile clients assisting in the entire audit process. After leaving Arthur Andersen, Meredith worked at Crescent Real Estate Equities in Fort Worth, Texas. She served as a financial analyst and oversaw financial reporting for the company – owned commercial real estate buildings. When a move to Graham, Texas, called her away from Crescent Real Estate, Meredith decided to put her accounting career on hold to raise her children. On a part time basis, Meredith helped to build and manage a medical skin care business with her husband’s medical group.

For 16 years, Meredith has volunteered in her community and served on numerous boards. She serves as a Graham Independent School District Trustee.

Meredith has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University where she graduated Cum Laude with a major in accounting and a minor in Spanish. She enjoys time with her husband and three boys. Together they hunt, fish, and attend many sporting events.

 Amanda Moulton, Director of Accounting

Amanda Moulton is MGM Advisory Services’ Director of Accounting. Amanda’s focus is on accounting and special projects. Amanda pays attention to detail, takes ownership of anything she commits to and enjoys working hard to achieve goals.  She brings 12 years of accounting experience to her position.

Amanda started her career at Ernst & Young in Dallas, TX, as a staff auditor.  After leaving Ernst & Young, Amanda worked at several Real Estate Investment firms, becoming a CPA,  and working her way up into leadership positions.  As VP of Corporate Accounting, Amanda oversaw the financial reporting process for several business segments for a commercial real estate firm.

Amanda has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration from Texas Tech University.  In her spare time, Amanda enjoys attending bible study, working out, spending time with her husband, Brad, children, Molly (4) and Anthony (2), and dog, Maggie. Together they like to have fun outdoors sailing, biking, swimming, hiking and playing sports.

Chris Duncan, Senior Financial Analyst & Sourcing Manager

Chris Duncan is MGM Advisory Services’ Senior Financial Analyst and Sourcing Manager. Chris is an Excel expert and has an affinity for evaluating financial data. Chris’ focus will be multi-faceted as he will work towards improving MGM Advisory Services’ processes and best practices, assisting with sourcing candidates for key positions, as well as being available to outsource to specific clients who need Excel expertise.

Chris graduated from Texas Christian University with both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degree in Finance. He has 20 years’ experience in the Telecommunications, Retail/Merchandising, Banking, Oil Services Industry and Construction industries.  He has worked in large corporate environments such as Bank of America and Blockbuster, and also smaller entrepreneurial companies such as Hard Rock Land Design and Pilot Thomas Logistics.

Outside his work life, Chris enjoys going to Cedar Creek Lake with his wife, Mellie and dog Tele; loves just about any type of travel, cooking for his family and fishing.
