Our Recruiting Process

Step 1: Needs Analysis

  • We take the time to deeply understand why there is a position vacancy and what long term-success looks like for your company and the position.

Step 2: Candidate Profile

  • We analyze and review what is required of a position versus what is preferred. We cover requirements for three distinct areas: technical skills, core competencies, and culture fit.

Step 3: Job Description

  • Whether an existing job description is provided or we create one, we review, and refine it until it is in sync with required technical skills, job duties, and experience.

Step 4: Client Brand

  • We uncover your company’s greatest selling points that will helps to attract the strongest and most suited talent to your company.

Step 5: Salary Band

  • We provide research and market data related to compensation for each available position and then work hand in hand to determine a sensible compensation package that will appeal to top candidates.

Step 6: Sourcing Methods

  • In addition to posting the available role on leading job boards and reviewing applicants, we source candidates that may be actively or passively job searching. Using both methods of attracting candidates, MGM Advisory Services ensures that the presented candidates are highly targeted.

Step 7: Client Interview Process

  • After our internal interviews are complete and a comprehensive view of each top candidate is presented to you (the client), candidates will enter into your interview process with decision makers and department leaders.

Step 8: Fee Structure

  • MGM Advisory Services uses a hybrid fee structure that can be tailored to the client and specific position. This often saves clients valuable time and money. Learn more about our hybrid fee structure here.

MGM Advisory Services is a retained boutique recruiting firm that only takes on positions with clients that work with us exclusively. This allows both parties to have “skin in the game” and ensures our clients that their position is our top priority.

Although we operate as a retained search firm, our hybrid fee structure sets us apart from other recruiting firms. This unique fee model saves our clients a significant amount of time and money.

Hybrid Fee Model

  • Small upfront retainer applied towards total fees, but is not refundable

  • Project management, sourcing, recruiting and human resources hourly rate (It typically takes between 30 – 100 hours to fill a position. Hours are capped at 100 unless otherwise agreed upon)

  • Small success fee
